We are a full service fabrication company shipping structural steel components, joists, metal decking, and metal fabrications throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Depending upon your company’s needs, we can also provide subcontracted engineering services at the front end, as well as erection services at the back end of your project. Additionally, we have the capability to ship materials outside of the Mid-Atlantic region and have successfully delivered steel as far away as Dallas, Texas.
Bohling Steel, Inc. was created in January 2001 when Mark Bohling purchased the assets of Cavalier Steel, creating the new company. However, its roots and some of its personal date back to 1981 when Cavalier Steel was originally incorporated.
Since its inception, Bohling Steel, Inc. has chosen to grow by diversifying into the wide variety of building projects found in the commercial construction market. We have successfully completed steel jobs in the following areas:
·Retail - For example grocery stores, pharmacies, strip malls, automotive dealerships, and movie theaters.

Facilities:
Bohling Steel, Inc. occupies over 20,000 square feet of office and fabrication space, residing on 16 acres of land which is zoned light industrial. Our facility and its location provide us with the flexibility to receive and process raw materials efficiently and productively. If necessary, we have the space to temporarily store your fabricated steel on our yard, awaiting your site to get ready for delivery.
In-House Capabilities:
There is no such thing as the “average” Bohling Steel, Inc. building. We routinely fabricate structures as small as 25 tons and as large as 500 tons. Put another way, we have the capability to fabricate the required steel for buildings which occupy space up to 125,000 square feet. Complexity is what we do best! And of course, we deliver all of our fabricated steel using our own tractors and trailers to optimize customer service.
Our Talented Staff:
Our organization is comprised of 30 office and fabrication team members with literally hundreds of years of experience in the structural steel fabrication business. We operate our factory two 10 hour shifts per day which optimizes daily production throughput, and allows us to work up to 4 extra shifts per week when the demand warrants it.
